Repository adalah database program yang menyediakan berbagai program aplikasi untuk keperluan instalasi program tambahan. Repository hanya diperlukan jika Anda ingin menambahkan program yang tidak ada di dalam GARUDA atau mengupdate versi program. Namun jika program didalam GARUDA sudah mencukupi kebutuhan, Anda tidak harus menggunakan Repository.

GARUDA menggunakan repository dari induknya, yaitu PCLOS (PCLinuxOS) dari keluarga Mandriva. Server repository PCLOS tersedia baik di dalam ataupun di luar negeri. Adapun daftar lengkap penyedia server repository ini sudah disediakan dalam program manager Synaptic. Untuk Indonesia, server repository ini terletak di server FOSS-ID dan server Kambing-UI.
